Long John Silver's – A Fresh Seafood Restaurant Design Transformation
Our collaboration with Long John Silver’s at Tampines Mall showcases how a heritage brand can be revitalised through innovative seafood restaurant design. This brand refresh case study blends tradition with modernity, creating a dining experience that feels both familiar and excitingly new.
The Brief
Long John Silver’s tasked SPARK with developing a refreshed seafood restaurant interior design concept that would retain its fun, lighthearted identity while evolving into a modern, inviting space. The project included branding and design elements, as well as new interiors, to capture today’s consumer expectations while honouring the brand’s coastal heritage.
The Results
The renovation of Long John Silver’s at Tampines Mall brings a fresh new look, showcasing its refreshed, modernised logo and brand identity.
It retains the familiar, lighthearted, and fun Long John personality we all know and love, but with a clean, fresh, and new design scheme that reflects a bright, slightly tropical North American ‘fisherman’s wharf’ vibe, inspired by the brand’s heritage.
Integrating subtle nautical details together with fresh new product-based imagery and graphics, all set off against a light bleached timber plank backdrop.
Vibrant accents of brand yellow and blue create a fun, warm setting and a distinctive and welcoming feel. Various seating types have been utilised at varying heights to cater for different customer groups and lifestyles.
