Background: Having worked with Apollo to create their current design template almost 10 years ago it was now due for a rethink and refresh to align with the new future market trends and to set a new benchmark.
The Brief : To create the next generation Apollo English school design to set a new standard in Vietnam and which Apollo can use for the next 10 years as it grows its business in Vietnam and beyond. To bring to life Apollo’s newly develop visual identity program within a physical space. To create a living breathing manifestation of the Apollo English brand.
The Approach : In depth interviews of all stakeholders was undertaken to understand what was working and what was not with the existing schools. This included not only interviews with sales and teaching leadership but also with the CEO and founders to understand the long term vision for the business and the brand.
The Results : 2 schools were piloted, 1 in Hanoi and 1 in Ho Chi Minh City to test and benchmark the new design. The new concept offers up a more calming environment with opportunities for both digital and physical engagement throughout. Class rooms are functional – enabling teachers to teach at their best & practical – to endure heavy traffic and rough treatment. Sale areas are flexible and marketing spaces well defined to prevent clutter
